Jodi Woolard, Owner
What led me to open Woods Creek Kennels was the goal and mindset that the dogs always come first. For over 14 years we have succeeded in sending home many happy dogs from Camp and in return I have been very fortunate to spend my days in their company. I want to thank people like you for allowing us to continue to love on and care for your best friend!
Some "About Jodi" facts:
I'm married with one daughter (Tayler). We have 5 dogs (3 German Shorthairs and 2 Siberian Huskies), 2 horses and 2 cats.
*Awarded The Best of Western Washington Winner, 2012
* Certified Veterinary Assistant
* Former Puppy Raiser for CCI (Canine Companions for Independence).
* Snohomish & King County Search and Rescue Volunteer
And last but not least...I am a (very proud) Montana native.
Kelley is our Managing Dog Wrangler aka Chaos Coordinator. Her never ending patience, dedication and genuine love for our camp dogs makes her presence here invaluable.
Not to mention all the dog smooches and love she receives at camp, you could say she's definitely dog tested and dog approved.
Kelley is a native of San Francisco, but came to us after acquiring her Bachelors Degree from WSU (Go Cougs!) in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation with a minor in Forestry.
Just a snippet of her background and extensive experience includes volunteering at an animal rescue center from the 6th grade through high school, then was employed at a dog boarding facility while in college. She also spent a year raising baby monkeys in Arizona for UW, spent another year studying relocated Grizzly Bears in Pullman, WA, and...(as if that wasn't enough) she also spent time in South Africa at Kruger National Park conducting Big Cat research.
Her experience and education with various animals and their behavior is not only diverse and valuable, but obviously demonstrates an honest passion that owners hope for when putting their dog(s) into the care of others.
We adore her and feel fortunate to have her in our pack!
Reanna is our evening Chaos Coordinator. She spends her time socializing with the dogs and making sure the Kennel and grounds are spiffy clean and sanitized. She is a proud Monroe native, born and raised and a graduate from Monroe High, 2021. She plans to attend college at EVCC and then seeing where life will take her after getting her AA. She is a calming presence in the kennel and natural when it comes to dogs. She loves her job as much as the dogs love her and she looks forward to coming to work just so she can be around dogs every day.
